Kızkalesi Beach

Kızkalesi Beach, located in Erdemli district of Mersin, takes its name from the historical Kızkalesi in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. This special spot, which stands out with both its natural beauty and cultural heritage, is on the UNESCO Tentative World Heritage List and is one of the 100 must-see buildings in Turkey.

The beach, which is 23 km from the center of Erdemli and 60 km from Mersin city center, is frequented by both local and foreign tourists with its fine sandy beach, clean sea and impressive view.

Kızkalesi Beach, which has a blue flag certificate, stands out with its environmental awareness and water quality. It offers visitors a comfortable sea pleasure with its disabled ramps, regularly cleaned shower and toilet areas, dressing cabins, sunbed service and a buffet offering various products.

Kızkalesi, which is very convenient in terms of transportation, can be easily reached by buses departing from Mersin at frequent intervals during the summer season or by private vehicles. The nearest airport is Adana Şakirpaşa Airport.
